Ms. Mary E. Gregory,93,Gadsden, Passed away Wednesday, March 2,2022.
The Obituary Our dearly beloved answered the gentle call of her Lord and Savior to exit the shores of her earthly life and to enter her eternal presence peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. On January 19, 1929, a little more than 93 years ago, the amazing Mary E. Gregory was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Gregory in Gadsden, Alabama.
At an early age, she sealed her eternal destiny when she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Her spiritual journey continued as she later joined and became a faithful member of Damascus Baptist Church.
Though she had many activities, the most praiseworthy satisfaction in the life of this Matriarch was her daughter and her four generations of off springs. Even though, she had many hobbies, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, her favorite way to pass time was to read her bible daily, lovingly nurture the babies while babysitting and watching television.
During her many decades of living, she lost many that was near and dear to her heart. Among those preceding her earthly transition are her loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Gregory and her devoted grandson, Billy Ray Cox.
Her lengthy and amazing legacy will continue through her devoted and lovely daughter, Joan Cox; grandson, Rufus Cox, Jr.; great grandchildren, Chad Miller, Brittany Cox, Sidney Fowlkes, Jaylen Cole and Billy Ray Cox, Jr.; great-great grandchildren, Jaiden, Cheriti, Trinity and Preston; nephew, LeRoy Chandler and the many other nephews, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she loved so passionately.
Viewing and Visitation will be 12 P.M.- 6 P.M Friday, March 11,2 2022. West Gadsden Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the "Betty D.
