Mr. Eddie Huff,65, of Gadsden, AL, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Mr. Eddie Huff Jr. was born on November 20,1959 to Mr. Eddie & Mrs. Mary Ann (Martin) Huff in Gadsden, AL.
He accepted Christ at an early age and united with the First Baptist Church of Green Pastures under the leadership of Reverend G. Cook. He then united with Victory Temple Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Pastor Ronnie Bell. He later united with the East Gadsden New Testament Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Brown and served faithfully until his death.
Eddie was a faithful churchgoer and an awesome musician. He played many instruments, and he did it with passion. He was known to leave one service on Sunday and on to the next one to play wherever needed all over the city.
He obtained his schooling at Booker T. Washington Elementary School and graduated from Litchfield High School, class of 1978.
He worked at Tyson Foods for several years. He also stocked shelves at Walmart, worked at Popeyes Chicken and EmCo Manufacturer.
Eddie was preceded in death by: his parents, Eddie Huff Sr. & Mary Ann Huff; Grandparents, Johnny & Bertha Martin and David & Ella Huff.
He leaves to cherish his memories to: His daughters, Victoria Huff and Alisha Huff; son, Eddie Huff III; sister, Carla Reneè Valentine; brothers, Joseph Allen (Wendie) Huff and Melvin & Kelvin Huff; one grandchild; aunts, Cecelia Martin, Beverly Ann Martin, Kattie (Fred) Huff, Ella Mae Hill and Paralee Ann (Charles) Coleman; Uncle, Special mother, Doretha Jackson; special friends, Katie Huff, Alonza Crowley, Ermanda Haley and Anthony Wayne Sturdivant; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be Friday from 12noon-6pm.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00pm at the New Liberty Tabernacle of Praise.
Eulogy: Pastor Willie Simmons.
Interment: Lincoln Hill Memorial Gardens.

Rest in peace, forever. You were the light in any room, always with a jolly spirit and a smile that could brighten anyone's day. You were an easy-going soul, someone who made everyone feel at ease, and your kindness will never be forgotten. You were just a good person, in every sense of the word. It was an honor to know you, and I'll cherish the memories we shared forever.

Eddie was always quiet, he smiled at everything. Never met a stranger. He was this way in school. Eddie had several talents,I would love to hear him.play the guitar. Then sing. Eddie will be missed. My Condolences to tge family. Praying for comfort and strength.
