ROSETTA HEATH-WALKER was born on September 26, 1954 in Greensboro, Georgia to the late Joshua Heath (Wade) and late Eva Belle Favors (Heath) Davis.
Her formal education began in the Greene County Schools System and later excelled in the Atlanta Public Schools System. She was a graduate of Brown High School and went on to earn a Master of Divinity Degree from Beulah Heights University.
Rosetta accepted Christ as her Savior as a young Adult. As she continued to grow in her Faith, she began singing in Choirs and used her love of God to preach the Gospel in local Churches.
Rosetta was employed with Grady Memorial Hospital from the age of sixteen (16) until she retired in 2016.
Rosetta united in marriage to Joe Louis Walker in 2000 and remained a loving wife until God called her home. She was always the life of any room she entered as she would always share her larger-than-life smile with those in which she greeted. Her personality and sense of humor could turn any room into laughter. She had a contagious laugh! She was a Lady who was unapologetic about who she was and always meant what she said. She always made things lighter and brighter.
She was called home to Glory on April 9, 2021 where she was welcomed at the gates of heaven by her Father, Joshua and her Mother, Eva Belle.
She leaves cherished memories for: her Husband, Joe Louis Walker; Daughter, Shannon Heath-Longino (Damon); Brothers and Sisters, Louise Bankston, Larry Heath Sr. (Carla), Randy Heath (Ouida), Helen Heath (Ike), Harvey Heath, Alonzo Davis, and Cedric Lemon Sr. (Lameta); Grandchildren, Caleb Heath, Corbin Heath, and Ckyla Heath-Longino; Brother-In-Law, Larry Walker, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and dear Friends.
