Mr. Ralph Taylor was born February 8, 1951 to the parents of Mr. Oscar Taylor of Madison, Ga. and Mrs. Julia Mae Crawford-Taylor of Greshamville, Ga.
To know him was to love him.
He was raised by his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Arvilla Cridell-Crawford in Greene County because Mrs. Arvilla couldn’t bare to see her grandsons move to Atlanta. He graduated from F. T. Corry High with the Class of 1969. “As they will say, The Best Class Ever.” He was baptized in the Baptist faith at an early age.
Ralph joined in marriage with Betty Jean Johnson-Taylor on May 29th, 1999 and he remained faithful until his death. The had a blended family of three children and grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Betty; his sons: Darius Taylor and Brandon Johnson; his daughter Nekita (Chris) Twilley; his brother Larry; grandchildren: Dessiah, De’Leliah, Jamaya, Jonthan, Jason, Brandi, Naziyah and Tru; nephews and niece: Keith, Chad Trell Sr., Corey, Cir’rye and Chad Jr., Rhonda Quincy and Andre; brother-in-law Sylvester Johnson, sisters-in-law Ruby Chester, Mable Watkins, & Mattie Hull. Some wonderful cousins that checked on him often: Janie Burke, Nita Simmons, Barbara Burke, Mildred Franklin, Mr. James & Barbara Saffo, Ann White. Also, thanks to Tevin Miller & Jamie Wright for coming by to check on him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr Taylor, but I have had the sweet blessing of knowing his loving wife, Betty. However, I am absolutely positive he was a wonderful gentleman with a kind spirit.
