Obituary For James Burdette

Mr. James Burdette was born in Crawfordville, Ga on July 2, 1948 to the late Prodigal Son and Susie Mae Burdette. In addition to his parents preceding him in death are his wife, Lois Mae Burdette, sisters Annie Ruth Peek & Ruby Nell Lynch, and brother Richard Burdette.

James was a devoted deacon of Mount Olive Baptist Church. James worked at and retired from Georgia-Pacific in Madison, GA. He served in the United States Army for three years. James was a devoted father who enjoyed life. He was a mentor and he loved the Lord.

Left to mourn his passing are his five children: James Eric Burdette, Marcus Burdette, Ashley Burdette Drummond (Tyler), Kimberly Burdette, Jason Burdette, siblings: Bobby Stephens, Willie C. Burdette (Mosella), Willie Clyde Burdette (Linda), Lillie Jones (John), DeLeon Burdette (Sarah), Jimmy Lee Burdette (Mary), Jesse Burdette

(Frances), Edward Burdette (Jennifer), Rosemary Walker (Nathan), 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services: Saturday, July 2, 2022, 12:00 noon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Crawfordville, Ga.
