On April 26, 2022, God called his son Europe Manago, Jr, home at the tender age of 79 and he happily accepted.
Europe Manago, Jr was born in Taliaferro County, Georgia to the Late Europe Manago, Sr and Varnita Rhodes Manago on April 2, 1943. He was one of nine children (five boys and four girls). His sister Juanita Manago and brother Europe Golden Howard proceeded him in death.
At an early age, he joined Brown Chapel Baptist Church. Since his father was a Deacon there, he knew that Faith in the Lord was an essential part of Life. He was educated in the Taliaferro School System.
Europe, known as "Jr" to the family and "Jap" to his friends, was a Jack of All Trades. He knew that success in life required work, so he started at home in his father's Pulpwood business. A job at which he became so skilled, that he and his friend started their own Pulpwood business. Later he would work as a transfer truck driver, welder, and various other jobs for companies like McCoy Chairback Factory, Horton Homes, Buck Moore Axis and Crawfordville Enterprise just to name a few. Of all the jobs he had, the most cherished was that of Daddy. He Loved his children.
Jap was easy going and enjoyed many friendships. His friendly manner would put you at ease for a visit of fun and laughter.
He was the father of six children. Two sons proceeded him in death, Europe Manago, III and Nicolas Manago.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his three daughters- Cassandra Manago, Melissa Manago Belle both of Ellenwood, GA, Shanita Stewart Wright (James, Jr) of Greensboro, GA and one son Caleb Manago of Philadelphia, PA; Two Granddaughters: Tequila and Chakanna; Four Grandsons:
Marcus Sr., Kiar, Omar and James, III; Two Great-Granddaughters Jada and Ambre and Two Great- Grandsons, Tito, Jr. and Marcus, Jr.
