Elizabeth McClain was born on April 12, 1981 in Greensboro, Georgia to the parentage of Linton McClain, Sr. and the late Glenda Wilson McClain. She was a bright child and always exceled in school. Elizabeth came to know Christ at an early age and graduated from Madison County High School in Danielsville, GA in 1999. After high school, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Child Development & Education from Ashford University.
On July 27, 2024, Elizabeth answered Our Heavenly Father's call and entered Heaven's gates after a long bout with her health. Elizabeth was a loving, jovial soul who loved her family and friends, but her greatest love was her two children, Victoria, 8 and Elijah, 6. Her kind spirit and love for family will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda McClain, uncles, Edward Wilson, Leroy Wilson, and Wilbur Wilson, and aunt, Evelyn Wilson.
Elizabeth is survived by her father, Linton McClain, Sr. and children, Victoria and Elijah both of Athens, GA; five .brothers, Christopher (Amelia) Wilson of Lillington, NC, Gabriel McClain of Michigan; Linton (Antonella) McClain of Jacksonville, FL; Joshua (Kristin) McClain of Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Marcus McClain also of Fairview Heights, Illinois; three sisters, Christine McClain, Rosemary McClain, and Rebecca McClain, all of Athens, GA; two aunts, Larie Wilson of Sparta, GA and Sarah (David) Walker of Greensboro, GA; the father of her children, Jermaine McKinney, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will all miss her loving spirit.
Services were Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Watts Memorial Chapel, Union Point, Georgia with Rev. Larry Carter Eulogist.

I worked with Elizabeth for several years at McDonald's. I was the GM there. Liz was a hard worker and always had my back. I considered her a friend. I will miss her. Praying for all the family and her babies Victoria and Elijah. Rest in peace Elizabeth.
