Calvin "Pig" Warren was born on January 4, 1957 to the late Luke and Christine Warren of Crawfordville, Georgia. On September 6, 2023, he answered the call of God and is now resting in peace.
"Pig" was baptized, and attended The Church of Christ, in Washington, Georgia, as a faithful member.
"Pig" attended school in Union Point, Georgia, and left school early on to start working. He worked at the Chicken Poultry for many years, and later worked with his uncle as a mechanic; until his retirement. After his retirement, "Pig" continued to do what he loved most; repairing friends and family vehicles. He also worked occasionally at the BP Gas station in Crawfordville, Ga, doing odds and ends jobs to keep him busy.
Calvin is survived by five children; two daughters, Shontel (Edward) of McDonough, Georgia, Sheera of Greensboro, Georgia, three sons, Rico (Nakia) of Avon, Indiana, Corderius (Diamond) of Dacula, Georgia, Calvin of Union Point, Georgia, thirteen grandchildren, four uncles, Sammy, Albert Lee, James Frank and Sylvester, five nieces and nephews. A very special Nephew, RayQuon "Ray", and a very special friend, Lorraine Butts.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Christine Warren, a brother, Larrie.
Services: Saturday, September 16, 2023, 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel at Watts Funeral Home, Union Point, Ga. with Brother James Pritchard, Officiating.
