Grover will be so missed. He never failed to speak to me Everytime he saw me. He was a kind man. McDonough will not be the same without him. He really was a wise man.
Grover you most definitely will be missed. From the time I met you in your 68 Camaro many years ago, you have always kept it real. Rest on my Friend I will never forget you. Casey and the Jonesboro Crew
Grover was truely "one of a kind" and a McDonough icon!! My kids and I used to always holler hello to Him when he was riding down the streets Of McDonough or speak with him for a bit if we saw him in a store! Grover marched his own drumbeat and will never be forgotten by those who had The opportunity to talk with him!! RIP my friend!! You'll most certainly be missed around McDonough!! I look forward to seeing you again one day!!
"That's the only way we gonna do it"! Rest In Paradise "Mr. McDonough"! You will be missed!

You will be missed from down here my friend.
No, I never had the pleasure of meeting you here on earth. However, from what I've heard a bright, shining light has gone out in the city of McDonough, GA. One day, I feel certain we'll meet when my time on earth is finished. I look forward to it. My prayers to your family & all those who loved you.
My morning runs to Walmart will never be the same. I could always count on a laugh whenever I saw you. Our last encounter you gave me a complete order from McDonald's to get for you and you was very specific, if I had known that was the last encounter I was going to have with you I would have told you to get in the car and took you instead of just giving you the money for it. You will truly be missed Grover!
RIH Grover. Keep it real!! God bless. Amen Frederick and Raquel Thompson
A wonderful man has gone on to glory. Never had a bad spirit when someone spoke to him nor did he harass anyone. Always spoke to me and my kids. RIP my buddy and as your words to everyone: KEEP IT REAL

Prayers for the family, we moved to McDonough 16 years ago and saw him on day #1 near the Square. Never had a chance to sit and chat with him but seeing him on regular basis would put a smile on my face...just knowing he was still among us. Glad he touched so many lives, may God continue to watch over his family and loved ones. I will miss my Mr Grover "sightings".
Keep it real alway those were your words you will be miss. PAT MILLER
Rest in peace Grover you will be missed Geraldine Phillips
You will be miss rest in heaven
Much sympathy to the family of Grover from James and Catherine Thrasher.
Grover, I will miss you. For many years I have ran on the sidewalks in town and would see you, and you always would yell "looking good". You always made me smile. The Bible says; Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. I think you were an angel. Well done! Brenda Mitchell
