Mom Bolden had a beautiful SOUL. She loved her family, and everyone she met including me. Every time I called her or she called me, she will always have a beautiful story to tell me. I will surely miss that. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved her God. To her family I say have my deepest sympathy, but also know that she is still with you. I will miss her and carry her in my HEART forever......Barbara
Ms. Colleen what a beautiful sole, her smile and the way she made you feel loved when you were in her presence. She will truly be missed but we know; (To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord). We have so many good memories in our hearts and minds of her for instance, when we would visit her she always had something for Art to do, but we took it in stride because we realized that it was just her way of being and we enjoyed it. To the Bolden Family our prayers are with you always and may God carry you through this time of despair. With love Art & Yvette

Share a Memory! It is hard to share just one Memory. Colleen and I met many years ago at the Department of State and became sister friends. In 2009, I spent two weeks with her in her home in Atlanta and I thought I would be somewhat in charge since she was recuperating from an operation. I was wrong, she stilled called the "shots'. Our bond became even stronger and I will treasure those two weeks. She was one "Classy" lady, one I admired. She and Hank were there for my son Adrian and my entire family. I know she is at Peace and that gives me comfort. Greg and Sharon, thanks for bringing much happiness to her during her life. Honor your parents, a command you followed and God will reward you. Peace & Love, Marva Long and family. Maryland & North Carolinas
To the family of Ms. Bolden, I would like to offer my condolences to you.
I first met Colleen at Saint Philip Benizi Church. I got to know her better at our St. Martin de Porres Society ministry meetings. She was a Phenomenal Woman. Whenever she gave us advice in the meetings it always made sense. We ended up implementing some of her ideas. I knew from having one on one conversations with her, that I was in the presence of someone that truly loved the Lord and her family. She showed it through her actions and words. Oh, how I loved to hear her speak. She pronounced her words so distinct. Her voice had such a soft tone. She held everyone's attention when she was reading (Lector)at mass on sunday's. I admired her sense of style. I am so proud to have known her and call her a friend. May her family find peace and comfort in the memories she left behind. She will be truly missed. Rest in Peace my Classy Friend. Mary A.Studaway

Ma Bolden as we so lovingly called her was truly a woman of God. She reminded me so much of Nancy Wilson! Ma Bolden was highly intelligent, charismatic and Classy. We will miss those pearls of wisdom whenever we conversed on the phone. Our last conversation was about her beautiful home that she shared with Greg and Sharon. She was so grateful to live there with her wo5FE2Enderful view of the lake and flowers and birds. We promised to visit on our next trip down south. Ma Bolden, you have a new home now. Even more grand because you are now in the house of the Lord. May the Father Bless and comfort our Bolden family and friends. Amen.
