John "Rock" Terrell life came to an end on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the age of 75 at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Terrell was born June 18, 1949 in Williamson County, Tennessee to the parents of John Willie Terrell and Mary Tom Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his many memory his son, Omar (Delana) Terrell; daughters, LaFronda (Reggie) Simons, Tia (Vielka) Terrell and Quinia (Corey) Steele; grandchildren, Dantavia Collier, Zabria (Patrick) Hayland, Omarian (Kayla) Terrell, Anthony Grisby, Corey Steele, Jr., Adonnis Simon, Ambreona Garrett, Taylor Terrell, Reggie Brown, Jr., Desiray Sanchez, and Jalen Sanchez; great grandchildren, Keyleigh, Kadan, Dakota, Jaxon, Braxton, Atlaya, Kyler, Patrick, Jr. and Stella Terrell; god children, Brandy Sanford Nolan and Ouida Collins; siblings, Louise Branch, Fred (Delores) Terrell, Tony Terrell and Mary Terrell Dixon; in-laws, Tishie Ramey, Joyce Stone, Bobby (Alfreda) Sowell, Torez Sowell, Roberta Hornbeak and Alma Hornbeak; nieces, nephews, devoted nieces and nephews, Arrita Jenkins, Antonio Terrell, Sr., Arnita Turner, Clay Jenkins and Walter Jenkins, cousins and friends.
Mr. Terrell will lie in state on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.
Visitation with family Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 11 until 12 at Lynn Creek Tabernacle 117 Fairground Street with funeral to follow. Elder Mack E. Morton. officiating.
Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Franklin, Tennessee.
