I just now found out about Betty's death. I worked with Betty for several years. She was a very nice lady. She was intelligent and she had a great sense of humor. Very sorry to hear of her passing. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with her son and the rest of her family and friends. May she RIP.
Sincerely,
Leann Black
Betty was a combination of class and kindness. She was authentically sweet and always had a pleasant hello. We met in the break room at work several years back and we were never strangers again. I will miss your "Hey Ms.Rhonda", even when my back was turned while I was on the phone. I will miss your genuine sweetness. Rest in God's heavenly peace dear lady! My condolences to Betty's family for their great loss. Peace unto you all. Rhonda Howard

I knew her from work, and she was so sweet to me every time we interacted. She was always smiling.
I meet Betty in 2012 while on 6-week vacation in Nashville. I had spoken to her plenty times on the phone but never in-person. We ate and she took me to her home to share our Gayles Family connection. I had big fun being a Nerd at her house. May her legacy live forever through her son, siblings and the people who knew her. My heart is truly broken. Ms. Betty always had a smile on her face and spoke to everyone. She didn't care if it was the first time meeting you. She spoke to you like you were old friends. I always ran into her on the elevator or the break room. And she made me smile whenever I saw her because I knew she was going to say hello with a big old smile on her face. Praying for the family in your time of grief.
My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and to Thomas Scruggs. Prayers for comfort during this difficult time. Eula Hendricks, Antioch, TN
