Reverend Delanor E. Myrick, Sr., of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Sunday, July 9, 2023, IN Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida.
He was a member of Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church in Marianna, Florida.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 4194 Union Road in Marianna, Florida 32446 where the Reverend Hollis McClendon is the pastor with Retired Presiding Elder Phillip Russ, IV, officiating.
Interment will be in the James G. Myrick Memorial Garden.
Reverend Myrick will lie in repose at the church from 9:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Brothers-in-law: Reverend Calvin (Doris) Griffin and Qualie Roulhac of Chipley, Florida
Two Sisters-in-law: Otha Myrick of Greenwood, Florida and Barbara Myrick of Vero Beach, Florida; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

My sincere condolences to the Myrick family. My prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow. I will always remember Rev. Myrick's kindness toward my mother in law (Mrs. Clotte White). I pray that God's peace that passes all understanding will comfort you all at this difficult time.
