Obituary For Janice T. Greene

Mrs. Janice T. Greene, of Cottondale, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida.

Mrs. Greene was a member of Saint Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in Cottondale, Florida. To know her was to love her.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of Second West Missionary Baptist Association located at 4110 Herring Avenue in Marianna, Florida 32448.

Interment will be in the Bethlehem African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery located at 3100 Lovewood Road in Cottondale, Florida.

Mrs. Green will lie in repose at the church from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Husband: Reverend Doctor David Greene of Cottondale, Florida

Two Brothers: Reverend Joe (Carrie) Tripp of Cottondale, Florida and Retired First Sergant Michael (Nancy) Tripp of Enterprise, Alabama.

And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Janice, was such a dear and caring friend. I worked with her for years at the FSH/U14. To know her was to love her. My very first cruise to the Bahamas, was with Janice. I was in her and David's wedding and she was my daughter Emma godmother. She will definitely be missed, by all that knew her. Family, Earth has no Pain that Heaven can not Heal.
