Obituary For Henry Louis Barnes, Jr.
Mr. Henry Louis Barnes, Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at his residence.
Mr. Barnes was of the Baptist faith. He was a strong believer in education and loved learning. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. To know him was to love him.
The Homegoing Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 12 O'clock Noon from the sanctuary of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located at 3996 Wintergreen Road in Greenwood, Florida with Pastor Kevin Williams and Deacon Eddie Barnes officiating.
Interment will be in the New Hope Cemetery.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of precious memories:
Loving and devoted wife of 66 years: Lillie Bell Williams Barnes; three sisters: Margaret, Indiana, and Evette; a son: Eddie (Renee); a daughter: Diane; grandchildren: Reggie, Rachel, Erica, Shareece, Tyechia, and Erin; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of family and dear friends.
