Mrs. Alma Smith Hayes, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in Marianna, Florida.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the sanctuary of Pope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 4898 Blue Springs Road in Marianna, Florida 32446 where the Reverend Larry Brown is the pastor with the Reverend Abraham O’Hara Johnson, officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
There will be no public viewing.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Two sons: Sonny E. (Joy) Williams of Tucson, Arizona and Larry D. (Brenda) Smith of Tallahassee, Florida
Stepchildren: Rebecca Anderson of Greenwood, Florida; Mamie Hayes of Marianna, Florida; Leola Hayes (Sam) Hayward of Tallahassee, Florida; Samuel (Shirley) Hayes of Panama City, Florida
Daughter-in-law: Shirley Peace of Pensacola, Florida
One Sister: Thelma Smith of Marianna, Florida:
And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
