I am sorry that I was unaware of his funeral service. He was the man at Tuscaloosa High School. I graduated there in 1978. Thank you Mr. Thomas for your leadership & guidance. Robert E. Thomas.

My memory of Dr. Thomas at TJHS (1971-73) was that although he could be a tough disciplinarian, he also had a loving heart. He took great pride in his job as assistant principal. He was very proud of our school. Always dressed in a suit and full of energy. He understood his impact on young people and his ability to positively affect them. Good man.
