Thelma Jean McNair was born to Arthur and Lucille McNair on June 2, 1947 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She exchanged time for eternity on November 29, 2022.
She was a member of the Austin High School class of 1966. She was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ. She attended until her health began to fail and she was no longer able to attend. She retired from Sports Belle Apparel where she was a seamstress.
Thelma was a kind and caring person who loved her family and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by father and mother, Arthur and Lucille McNair and sister Gloria Washington. She leaves to mourn her passing daughter, Patricia Stephens, three brothers, John McNair, Alvin (Gloria) McNair and Rev. Michael (Angela) McNair all of Knoxville, sister, Dorothy Bailey, 3 grandchildren, LaPatric Stephens, Kierra Reynolds, Stephen(Ashley) Reynolds, 6 great-grandchildren, Stephen III, Kiniya, Zacari, Ashton, Heaven and Nori. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. Special friend Camilla Younger.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 11:30-12:00 noon with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 noon at First A.M.E. Zion Church where Rev. Michael McNair is Pastor, Rev. Gene Thomas rendering the words of comfort. The final resting place will be at the New Grey Cemetery immediately following the service. A dove release will conclude.

Pat, Your Mom lives on in you. Though she is gone, her love for you remains, and always will... her spirit guides you still.
