Rosa Lee Bowden was born on May 30, 1947 to the parents of Arthur and Dorothy Huffine in Kingston, TN.
Rosa departed this life on January 28, 2025. Rosa was preceded in death by parents, grandparents Willie and Queen Isbella Allen Francis and beloved husband James Edward Bowden. Brothers Arthur Jr. and Stanley Huffine, sister Shirley Sullivan.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son Kenneth (Javonna)Huffine Sr., sister Glenda Holloway of Atlanta, GA and brother Lee(Ida)Huffine Sr., sister in law Patricia Huffine of Atlanta, GA. Beloved grandchildren; LaTasha(Tim)Brinson, Kenneth Jr, Brittany Jones, Darrius Ellison and 5 great grands. Special aunt, Mary Ruth Billingsley, Special friend Brenda Brooks. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 with receiving of friends to begin at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church, 2342 Louise Ave., with Rev. Dexter Mims officiating.
The final resting place will be held at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (Lyons View) at 1:00 p.m. immediately following the service.

My heart π is so sad and goes out to my cousin Kenneth huffine for the lost of his mom and my auntie Rosa never would have imagine that nine months later after burying my mom's and your sister that we would be saying see you again to my auntie Rosa but I blessed and thankful but never know in a long time at my mom's and your sister that the hug and kiss we shared would have been the first hug and kiss in a long time would have been the last hug and kiss but so humble that I got to receive that from you with all my heart π I love you and always have tell my mom and granny one day I'll see u all again niece LaTonya huffine
