Best of friends you will be missed deeply.
Melvin will truly be missed. He was a person who showed his love through not only his words but his walk. When my father (Deacon Martin) was alive and was on sick list, Melvin was one of the brothers from the church that came by to visit on a regular basis. Melvin always had a smile when he greeted you. May his memories bring you joy that he was a blessing to many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Family. Melodie and Paul Daniels
My husband and I knew Melvin from many years ago when we all worked at Standard Knitting Mills. Melvin always was the best dressed and drove the nicest car. He was always the nicest guy in the group and a perfect gentleman. Over the years Melvin's kind and gentle spirit never changed, he was a good person that loved God, family and friends. Our condolences go out to his family. We do know however to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
You will be sorely missed my brother and friende7hmn
