I got the privilege to be Margie's neighbor the last few years of her life and to form the sweetest relationship with her. Margie always told me that God brought me to her and I always agreed that God brought us together. Margie brought so many smiles and so much laughter to my life. I don't know if she ever realized that I needed her as much as she needed me. If ever i felt sad all I had to do was go visit with her and I'd always walk back home with a smile. Her stories and her way of viewing the world never failed to lift my spirits. When I would tell Margie that I love her she would tell me "I know you do. I love you too." My heart is heavy with grief at the loss of my dear friend, but to know that she knew she was loved makes that grief a little lighter to carry. Margie was loved by many, and I got to meet so many wonderful people through my friendship with her. I'll forever cherish the time I got to spend with her. ~ Jamie Hodge
Psalm 23:1-4 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
