I'm so sorry we had just talked on the phone Dec 23rd 12:44pm . We had a good conversation we talked about when he was in the hospital and that he was doing good . The tone of his voice was different then before other times we have talked, he seemed to be much more spiritual and that he new without a doubt that he was living a spiritual life than before, I would call and tell him we're watching the Tennessee game and I love for him to come down but , he wasn't all about that anymore he was more than ever a man that just wanted to be more with his family . James will be missed but if we live right we will see him again. I look forward seeing my friend again . To the family I'm just a block away you need anything I was going to to shovel the snow out the driveway but it was already done ๐๐พ๐๐พ
To the family of James Bishop. You have my deepest sympathy. I met James when I started 7th grade at Beardsley Junior high. I found him to be a very nice man. He had the best attitude and was always a happy and smiley person. I knew his family. They were all so well loved. I will miss my friend even though I haven't seen him in a couple of years. May God give you all peace and comfort. Sincerely: Glorious Dixson Gilmore and the Dixson family.

Robin... We were so sorry to hear of James' passing. We so admired his dedication to the truth, and his love for Jehovah. It was so beautiful to see the love you all have for each other, and we loved seeing you both at the Kingdom Hall. He was so caring, always asking how Albert was doing, with genuine care. He will be deeply missed, and we are here for you, if you need anything. Love, Natalee and Markeese Williams

Dear Robin, Wanda and I sincerely sympathize with you on the passing of your husband, and life partner, James. His passing is a profound loss to all the family. May our Lord console and comfort us all during this difficult time. Uncle Al
James was my uncle but he showed up in my life as a father figure in many ways. He even gave me away at my wedding. He made sure I had everything I needed and did not feel the void of not having a father. His presence was enough. He was such a kind and generous person. I will definitely miss his humor. I will miss his voice. I will miss having him in my life. But he will forever be my heart.
JAMES WILL TRULY BE MISSED. He was always let his life be a light to anyone who need a friend or a encouraging word.He was born naturally funny. If you didn't laugh the first attempt he would come up with something else to do or say. Never will forget when he returned home from the military, and bought a car Mwill conanky and I had the best of times sharing fun filled days with James and Robin. I will continue to keep his wife and family in my prayers. Love all of you

To The Bishop Family, Iam so sorry to hear about James passing. It has been some years since I last him. But, I remember when James and his family lived in the now historic Mechanicsville community. He was one of many good guys back in the day who looked out for some of us slightly younger. My prayers and condolences are with the family during and beyond this difficult time. May God continue to keep his loving arms around each of you.
