Aizen Amaris Jenkins
Aizen Amaris Jenkins was born on March 19, 2020, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Jallisa Streets and Marico Jenkins. He was so resilient and had the strength of a hero. His presence filled the room with laughter and joy. In Aizenโs brief time here, he loved to play with trains. He loved Thomas and Friends, loved Thomas the Train songs, and loved to sing them. His favorite trains were Thomas, Percy, and Toby. He loved to ride carousels and to go to the park. He loved to do arts and crafts with his mom. He was loved by his parents, grandparents, doctors, and nurses. He will be greatly missed!
Aizen departed this life on February 19, 2025, at 1:59 PM in his momโs arms at Vanderbilt Childrenโs Hospital in Nashville Tennessee after struggling with end-stage renal failure disease. He was a strong, little warrior that passed gently into the arms of Jesus. He leaves to celebrate his life his parents: Jallisa Streets and Marico Jenkins; grandparents: Lecrecia Howard, Dwight Howard, and Karee Jenkins; great-grandmother, Kimberly Jenkins; aunts: Shaina Matthews, Shavaris Streets, Aaliyah Matthews, KyAzia Jenkins, and Tazaria Nimmons; cousins: Zyaire Whiteside, Shania Wells, Risland, and David; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 11-12:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
The final resting place will be at Edgewood Cemetery immediately following the service.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Unity Mortuary. www.unitymortuary1979.com
