Mildred E. Flack Cannon of Ellenboro, NC began her life journey on January 25, 1949, and she completed her journey on Saturday, November 25, 2023. She was born in Rutherford County to the late Dennis L. Flack and Helen Logan Flack.
Mildred attended New Hope Elementary School and Carver High School. She was employed by Rutherford County Employment Agency until her retirement.
She accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age. She was a member of Mitchell Chapel Church.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; J.C. Flack, Robert Flack and (CC) Columbus Flack.
She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories; her husband, Lee Norris Cannon, three sons; Tieven Cannon of Jones, Pennsylvania, Quentin Cannon (Monet) of Seattle, Washington and Joshua Cannon of Helena, Alabama, three granddaughters; Gabriel Asbury, Chantelle Cannon and Kaylyn Stone, two grandsons; Tieven Cannon II and Jayden Cannon. She is also survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her great grandchildren, three sisters; Minnie Twitty of Ellenboro, NC, Lois Staton of Biloxi, Mississippi and Klonia Flack of Greensboro, NC, one sister-in-law; Donna Flack and son Julian Flack of Greensboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
