Christopher Micheal Johnson of Forest City, NC was born on July 8, 1975, to Debbie Miller Johnson and the late Ruffer Johnson. He departed for eternal glory on December 11, 2023, at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
He was a lifelong Episcopalian at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Rutherfordton, NC. He was a 1994 graduate of East Rutherford High School, where he was a great offensive line backer. Chris was formally employed by Wal-Mart and currently employed by M.E.S.S. Chris was a quiet and mild tempered person. He was a real Tar Heels fan, and he loved the Washington Commanders.
Chris was preceded in death by his father Ruffer Johnson.
He leaves fond memories in the heart of his two sons; J’Myus and Braelin Johnson of the home, one daughter; Eriona Keeter of Forest City, NC, his mother; Debbie Miller Johnson, one sister; Elizabeth Johnson-Sowell of Charlotte, NC, two brothers; Jason Johnson, (Jamie) of Ellenboro, NC and Jordon Johnson of Charlotte, NC, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
