I absolutely loved coming to BMG and hearing Deacon Sherman sing. His presence, his laugh and his smile are etched into my mind and heart in the best way possible. Rest well Deacon Dudley. You will be missed but I'm grateful to have met and known you while God had you here on earth. Sending heartfelt love to your family, especially you Franchetta during this time of bereavement.
To the Dudley Family Jehovah God knows that you are sad and just like a flower collects water after a storm He collects your tears. (Ps.56:8) You may be bent over and broken, but you are not uprooted. God will carry you through this storm and help your heart to heal. Trust our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave everlasting comfort and good hope by means of undeserved kindness, will comfort your hearts and make you firm. (2 Thess.2:16,17) Emily J Weaver-Kilpatrick

I'm really down about Sherman's passing. Sherman was one of my favorite people to work with over the last couple of decades. After I left the company, I used to call him when I would pass his childhood home in Scottdale Ga just to say hey -that use to make him laugh. He used to confide in me on various things at times at work, we had a real trust together that I really cherished. Sherman had a great natural sense of others character and seemed to have a spiritual intuition about people. One time I called him from Alaska and asked him to pick which kind of fish to bring home to him in ATL, his excitement after describing to me how good the fish was, was is probably my favorite memory of him -He was almost dancing in the hallway telling me about it. Sherman had a great impact on people, when I told my wife of his passing she became very upset - and that is not a reaction I would get from most coworkers passing from her as she didnt have that level of interaction and conversation with most. She really liked Sherman and looked forward to seeing the Dudleys at the company gatherings and the occasion interaction at my office with him. My kid also looked forward to visiting the Norcross office and seeing Sherman -He used to get so excited interacting with them. Oh yeah -and what an all time singing voice! May I offer condolences to Sherman's family -He was truly a great man. -Brian Kincheloe
