Mr. Clyde Jones, 70, went home to be with the Lord on September 5th, 2022.
There will be a viewing for family and friends from 4pm-8pm on Thursday, September 15th, 2022 at Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 6861 Main St, Lithonia, GA 30058.
His Home Going Celebration will be held at 11am on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at Fairfield Baptist Church, 6133 Redan Rd, Lithonia GA followed by Military Honors at the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr Canton, GA 30114.

Clyde Jones was born on September 24th, 1951 in New Orleans, LA to the late Isadore and Genevieve Jones. Shortly after high school he joined the United States Navy where he served during the Vietnam War. After serving his country he settled down in Charleston SC where he went into full-time ministry. He was passionate about ministry, football, and music. His hobbies included cooking and photography.
He truly will be missed. His legacy lives on through his children: Clyde Jones Jr and wife Tamara Jones, Dionne Jones, Myra Jones, Marilyn Jones-Heyward and husband Curtis Heyward, Joshua Jones and wife Julia Jones, Lashawna Bryant and husband Daniel Bryant, and Delores Jones. He leaves behind his siblings: Tanette Jones and husband Paul Bailey, Isadore Jones (late), Carolyn Jones, Harold Toussaint, Ernest Jones, Fredrine Julian, Vanera Bryant and husband Eric Bryant (late). He also leaves behind a host of other family and friends whose lives he has deeply touched.
My condolences for the family. He was radio mentor. I'm going to miss him deeply. Rest my friend. Thank you so much for what you've taught me. I will never forget you. 😢 😠😿 😢 Until we share the heavenly 🎤. RIP
