Obituary For Ms. Loretta Lynn Lyons

Ms. Loretta Lynn Lyons more affectionately known as “Fea,” was born on February 26, 1971, to the late Mrs. Florence Releford Lyons and the late Mr. Lewis Lyons, Sr. in Yatesville, Upson County, Georgia. At an early age, she joined the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Loretta attended the Upson County Public Schools and graduated from Upson High School. When she reached adulthood, she found employment at Hyundai Mobis as a Quality Controller.

She enjoyed cooking, homemade mix-ology, playing Cash 3 and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite saying, “I love you more than you know,” was her closure to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Amy McClendon. On Thursday, October 24, 2024, the Lord called her name. She answered the call and her spirit took flight and returned to the Heavenly Father. Her sudden departure has saddened the hearts of her family but her memory will live on.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters and brothers, Mrs. Tina (James) Andrews of Jonesboro, GA, Mrs. Branette Young of McDonough, GA, Ms. Gabriele Daniel of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Lewis (Michele) Lyons, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Mr. Dwayne (Anissa) Pennyman of Boston, MA, Mr. Jonathan (Lana) Napier of Augusta, GA and Mr. Spencer Harden of TX; aunts and uncles, Mrs. Doris Cox, Pastor Robert (Patricia) Releford both of Yatesville, GA, Mr. Johnny Lee Releford of Macon, GA and Ms. Katherine Smith of Thomaston, GA; a special friend, Ms. Charlette Battle of Griffin, GA; a special nephew, Mr. Kway Lyons and a special great niece, Ms. Itali Lyons both of Thomaston, GA; other nephews include, Mr. Jamall Andrews of Fairburn, GA, Mr. Jarrie (Nikki) Williams of Griffin, GA, Mr. Lewis Lyons, II and Mr. Levell Lyons both of AR; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
