Ms. Celia Mae Dallas was born on May 28, 1937 to the late Mrs. Delia Dallas and the late Mr. Charlie Searcy in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. She was educated at the Thomaston Training School. She was a long time and faithful member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church, as long as her health allowed. She loved the teaching and preaching of the word. Celia Mae was the mother of three children. To support her family, she was employed as a private duty housekeeper for over forty years. During her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking for her family; cleaning her home; spending time with her children, grandchildren and the rest of her family; and listening to gospel music. Celia Mae was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Annie Maude Dallas and Louise Dallas Robinson; and one grandchild, Maurice Thomas. On Wednesday, December 29, 2021, the Lord called Celia’s name. She answered the call and went home to her eternal resting place. She will be greatly missed by her family.
