Mrs. Linda Diann Andrews Williams was born on November 27, 1950 in Lamar County, to the parentage of the late Mr. Roy Andrews and the late Mrs. Hazel Goggans Andrews.
She was born and raised in Lamar County where she attended school. She graduated from Booker High School with the Class of l968.
She was employed with the William Carter Company for many years before becoming employed at Walmart in Griffin, GA where she has worked for over 22 years.
On June 29, l975, she married the love of her life, Mr. John Clifford Williams. To this union one daughter, Tomica, was born. She was a member of the West Mount Sinai Baptist Church where she enjoyed praising and lifting up the Name of Jesus.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Hazel Andrews. She departed this life on Tuesday morning, March 26, 2024. As the Lord whispered her name to come and rest, she went home to be with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Her spirit will carry on in the hearts of her husband of 48 years, Mr. John Williams of Barnesville, GA; her daughter, Ms. Tomica Williams of Barnesville, GA; one grandson, Mr. Tadavius Chaney of Barnesville, GA; two sisters, Mrs. Gloria (Rev. Freeman) Fuller, Jr. and Ms. Helen Taylor both of Barnesville, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Mr. Willie (Elaine) Williams and Mr. Billy Williams all of Barnesville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, all who will cherish and miss her presence.
