Mrs. Dianita Foster Geiger, more affectionately known as “Nita,” was born on September 2, l956, to the late Mrs. Essie Lee Jordan Foster and the late Mr. Willie Foster in Barnesville, Lamar County, Georgia.
At an early age, she joined the Sugar Hill AME Church in Barnesville, GA. She was educated in the public school of Upson County and attended Drake High School.
Nita was the mother of four children, one son, Carlos, preceded her in death. To provide for her family she was employed by Keadle Lumber Company. She was a faithful and dedicated worker as long as her health allowed.
Nita enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, shopping, talking on the phone, going on outings with her sisters and family get togethers. She loved dressing up and had to have a new outfit for those special occasions.
