Mrs. Bernadette Holt-Davis was born to the late Mrs. Willene Weaver Sledge and Mr. Eugene Holt, Sr. on December 21, l974, in Warm Springs, GA.
Everyone that knew Bernadette knew her for her big personality. She never met a stranger anywhere she went.
Her early childhood education was at Central High School in Talbot County. Bernadette made friends in school that lasted her lifetime. After high school, she continued her education at Savannah State University and completed her studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She was the co-owner of Showtime Transportation for a number of years and from there her career in transportation flourished. She was currently the Operations Manager for DHL Logistics.
She was preceded in death by her mother and two of her nieces, Alexius Paige Holt and Jada D’juan Holt. On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Maryland, the Lord called her name and she transitioned to her heavenly home. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one loving daughter, Ms. Tabitha Brown of Thomaston, GA; father, Mr. Eugene Holt, Sr. of Woodland, GA; step-father, Mr. Tyrone Sledge of Pine Mountain, GA; three grandchildren, Christopher Walker, Jordan Sanders and Kason Dozier all of Thomaston, GA; one brother, Elder Eugene (Elder Glory) Holt, Jr. of Hampton, GA; one sister, Ms. Cynthia Brown of Buena Vista, GA; one niece, Aiesha Fobbs of Buena Vista, GA; a special friend, Ms. Renee Flounay of Fort Washington, MD; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other friends.
