Obituary For Mr. Cleveland Myles

His Arrival Mr. Cleveland Myles was born on September 14, 1935 in Homerville, Georgia to the late Mr. Robert Myles and the late Mrs. Beatrice Lovejoy Myles. He attended school in the Clinch County School System earning a high school diploma. Cleveland, in his adulthood, served our country with two terms of service by way of the United States Army. He served in the Korean Conflict. He later relocated in Fulton, New York. He began working for the Nestle Candy Company and served thirty-five years before retiring as a supervisor. He met and married his sweetheart, Ms. Polly Tyus Myles. In 1995, they moved to Barnesville, Georgia to be closer to family and friends. Cleveland will be known for his love for basketball, football, baseball, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his brother enjoying his cold beverage and listening to Jazz Music. In his later years, he relocated to Florida to be with his daughter. His Departure Cleveland was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mr. Lorenzo Myles; and his favorite nephew, Mr. Ahmad Myles. Cleveland went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2021. He was a hard worker, loving father and grandfather, and devoted friend. His Legacy Cleveland’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his devoted wife, Mrs. Polly Myles; daughters, Ms. Mary A. Glaze of Fort Pierce, FL and Ms. Deborah Jenkins of Mississippi; grand-children and great-grandchildren; brother, Mr. Robert (Lillie) Myles of Barnesville, GA; brothers-in-law, Mr. Robert (Diana) Tyus, Mr. John Tyus (Niecy Marcello); nieces, Mrs. Makeba (Frederick) Parker of Hampton, GA, Mrs. Beverly Myles Barber of McDonough, GA; a host of devoted cousins from Hazlehurst, GA and Elmira, NY; and many dear friends whom all will miss him dearly.
