It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Henry C. Barnes. A resilient soul who embraced life despite the challenges fate bestowed upon him. Henry was born on December 22, 1946, in his beloved hometown of Barnesville, to parents Gertrude Evans Barnes (Mother) and John Henry Barnes, Jr. (Father) He was preceded in death by daughter, Angel Hope Barnes, three brothers, Lloyd Barnes (Shirley) Troy Barnes, Melvin Barnes, and sister Brenda Diann Barnes Turner (William).
In his prime, Henry faced an unforeseen obstacle when a working accident left him paralyzed. Despite this life altering event, Henry's resilient and determination became the hallmark of his existence. Rather than succumbing to despair. he embraced life with unmatched courage and a tenacious spirit that inspired all who knew him.
Henry found joy in traveling and fishing, and Henry treasured the moments spent with loved ones, his family and friends were the pillars of strength that sustained him through life's high and lows. He radiated love and appreciation leaving an enduring impact on those fortunate enough to share in his company.
In honouring Henry C. Barnes, Sr. We celebrate a life well-lived, marked by resilient, courage, and an unwavering determinations to find despite adversity. His legacy will continue to inspire us to embrace each da with gratitude and cherish the connections that make life truly meaningful.
