Obituary For James Clarence "JC" Walton

Mr. James Clarence Walton, more affectionately known as “J.C.,” was born on March 23, l950, to the late Mrs. Ella Lee Adams Walton and the late Mr. James Henry Walton in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. He received his education in the public school of Upson County and attended Drake High School.

When he reached manhood, he found employment with Mr. Johnnie Caldwell as his lawn maintenance. He worked for him for over thirty-five years. He also was employed by Mr. Billy Johnston.

In his younger years, he enjoyed playing basketball. During his leisure time, he enjoyed working and being outside, cooking, watching movies, especially scary movies, watching Matlock and In the Heat of the Night.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Louise Walton and Joanne Walton and one brother, Jessie James Walton. On Monday, October 28, 2024, the Lord called his name. He answered and his spirit took flight and returned to the father.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers, Mr. John Louis Walton and Mr. Paul Wimberly both of Thomaston, GA; a devoted niece, Ms. Jada Walton of Thomaston, GA; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
