Obituary For Aradis " Ray" Cutts

Aradis "Ray" Cutts was born on January 5, 1953, to the late Henry Cutts and the late Lucille Dewar Cutts in Wake County. Aradis entered into his eternal rest on October 30, 2022, at WakeMed Cary Hospital.

Aradis graduated from Fuquay High School in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. He was employed with CenturyLink, until retirement.

Aradis was preceded in death by his father, Henry Cutts; mother, Lucille Dewar Cutts; sister, Mattie Dewar; and niece, Denise Mercer.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Mary Cross Cutts; two sons, Nicholas Grimes (Shauntelle) of Lithia Springs, GA, and Sammy Milliken; three daughters, Walisha Atkins, Tonya Graves, and Karla Glover; eleven grandchildren, Ty Grimes, Kaylee Grimes, Lance Grimes, Jazmine Atkins, Tatiyonia Graves, Chad Graves, Shaylah Glover, Mikaylah Glover, Darrien Milliken, Jada Graves, and Brooklyn Glover; one brother, Thomas Dewar of MD; one sister, Betty Cutts Purdie of Fuquay Varina, NC; two special nieces, Karen King of MD, and Kimberly Freeman (Dameyan) of Raliegh, NC; two special cousins, Calvin Moody, Sr., of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Morris Dewar of Fuquay Varina; four special friends, Randy Baker, Mark Grimes, Patricia Brown, and Shelia Maxwell; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Friday November 4, 2022 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Wake: 10:00 - 11:00 am Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Funeral will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Masks are required in order to attend the wake and or the funeral.

Burial: Starlight Memorial Gardens, Lois Lane in Holly Springs, NC 27540.
