Larry Suttle began life’s journey on May 23, 1957 in Talladega, Alabama. He was the son of the late Dorothy Jean Suttle and the late Floyd Mitchell.
After being educated in the schools of Talladega, Larry enlisted in the United States Army where he served honorably until retirement. He returned to civilian life and once again reached the milestone of retirement, but this time from Georgia Pacific. After retirement, Larry then settled and made his home in Fort Payne, Alabama where he lived his final days.
Larry was the father of Kaneshia and Delaurio; grandfather of Amir; brother to Tammy, Rozell, Conzella, Joi, Dannie, William, Michael, Lloyd and Kenneth; special nephew to J. T.; and uncle, cousin and friend to countless others.
On November 19, 2023, Larry’s earthly body had become tired. He began his eternal rest while at DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne, Alabama. He was preceded on the road to eternity by his son, Dontae; parents, Dorothy and Floyd; and a sister, Denise Suttle.
