Mrs. Minnie L. Walker transitioned to her eternal home on Monday, January 9, 2023. She was born to Bennie J. Hixson Sr. and Mary Florence Copeland on October 7, 1934, in the city of Hamilton, GA. In August of 2020 her brother Bennie J. Hixson Jr. preceded her in death. She was married to Willie Walker who preceded her in death March 2020. She led a full and cherished life as she was loved by her family. She leaves to cherish her 8 children. Fernando, Sylvester, Jeffrey, Quentin (Gaye), Darius (Parthenia), Valerie, Rodriquez (Stephanie) and Christopher Walker. Sister-in-Law, Jessie Mae Hixson and her 3 children, Kortez (Lisa), Hixson, Keisha (Stafford) and Ken Hixson, her brother Willie James Brown and their families, 29 grandchildren and host of great grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held at the Terry Family Funeral Home Friday, January 20, 2023 from 2 - 5 pm at 145 North College Street, Hamilton, GA 31811. The service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Cathedral of Hope, 13377, US Hwy 27, Hamilton, GA 31811.
