Mr. Joe Harris Jr. was born in West Point, GA on January 6, 1951 to the late Mr. Joe Trammell and Ms. Tiny Louis Moss.
On Saturday, April 10, 2021; Joe passed away at Piedmont Regional Hospital in Columbus, GA. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers: Larry Moss and Willie Moss and one sister: Robin Hadley.
Joe retired after working for Georgia Pacific-Plywood for 32 years.
Joe leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 49 years Mrs. Mary Harris; three children: Lorraine (Robert) McGhee, Loretta (William) Warrior, Antwan (Breanna) Harris; twelve grandchildren: Kia, Shay, Niya, Kaleah, Dre, Kortez (Aira), Semaj, Nick, Banard, Ariana, Liliana, Ja’Brayden; two great-grandchildren: Maliya and Ace; two brothers: James L. (Anna) Harris, Robert (Shirley) Moss, one sister: Sally (Rev. John Parkmond) Parkmond; one aunt:Dorthy Estella Moss; one sister-in-law; five brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be Friday, April 16, 2021 at Terry Family Funeral Home LLC 145 North College Street Hamilton, GA 31811 from 3PM-6PM.
Graveside Service will be Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2PM – New Rock Spring Baptist Church 1594 Sunny Side Church Road Pine Mountain, GA.
Due to COVID 19, face coverings are REQUIRED and SOCIAL DISTANCING will be enforced.
