I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of my very first babysitter, Tina Morris Cannon's passing. I remember my mother, Opal and your mother, we affectionately called Aunt Mae's friendship. I remember growing up going to MawMaw's house with you and I remember 9th Street. Fond memories! I am glad we were able to stay in touch and as difficult as this is, we must trust God in all things and not lean to our own understanding. To the entire Morgan, Morris, Douglas and Cannon families, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time and in the days to come. Nikki, Boogie, Aunt Willie, Linda, Necie, Jackie and Diane and families--I am thinking of you all in love and prayer. Rest in Heaven, Tina!

Tina was a generous, and caring person who I came to love and admire, just wish we could have had more time, to co- grandparent our twins. I will always remember her warmly, and look after the loved ones. O Patricia -Brown Robinson

We were always addressed as cousins because my mom and your family were like sisters. Tina was a very special person..always giving and caring about others. she was a GREAT cook!! so family keep the beautiful memories in your heart and remember God has a plan and purpose for all thing. God's garden grows brighter everyday..what a beaytiful flower. my prayers are with you.

What do I say to one of the most wonderful individuals I have ever known? Honestly, I sit here and think about what it is that I want to say to you, and I struggle. Not because it is hard to express how I feel about you, but because I was fortunate to have told you how I felt throughout my life. I think about how lucky I am to know how much you care and love me. I will miss the random texts of love that you always sent. I will miss the calls that you made just to check up on our family. I will miss the stern conversations you gave me when I was wrong. How you never made me feel judged or treated me different, even though you knew my faults. How you always embraced me with a hug and a smile. A hug of comfort and a smile of absolute love. Every phone call and text ending with I LOVE YOU! What do I say to one of the most wonderful individuals that I have ever known? I don't know. But I know how you feel about me, because you never shied away from telling me during every conversation. I am blessed that I have nothing that I wished I had told you. You've always made me feel comfortable enough to tell you how I feel about everything. It hurts, because I want you back so much. But it brings me comfort to know that you are again with the one whom your heart belongs to. I LOVE YOU, MOM!
