Preceded in death by husband, Frank Brown; sons, Eric & Willie Brown; grandson, Cameron Estleman; sisters, Catherine Sanderlin, Cleothia Comage, Theddie Mae Perkins, Lillie Mae Taylor & brother, Joe Howard Reid. Survived by children, Bettie (Jimmie) Bunch, Olivia Brown & Patricia (Nathaniel) Austin, Hural (Bill) Brown, Claudis Brown, Otis Brown & Janice Brown; 3 special grandchildren, Cleoshia, Dominique & Carlton Brown; 17 grand, 18 great-grand & 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Girlean Wiley; a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation with family Friday, 2-5 p.m., at funeral home. Visitation Saturday, 12-1 p.m., with funeral to follow at Douglas Chapel C.M.E. Church, 3659 Koko Road, Stanton, TN 38069. You have my deepest sympathy during this time of sorrow. The loss of a loved one is painful. Jehovah gives to us ways to endure our sorrows. I'd like to share scripture that may comfort. Rev 21:4 tells us...He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor out cry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away. Isaiah 36:6 reads...The lame one will climb up as a stag does. Isaiah 35:5 reads...The eyes of the blind one will be opened. John 5:28, 29 tells us...All those in the memorial tombs will come out. We have reason to have faith in God's word because: Isaiah 55:11 reads...So my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without result. But it will certainly do that in which I have delighted and it will have certain success in that in which I have sent it.
