HARRIS, Emily Lucile Age 66 of Nashville. December 23, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Charles W. Harris, Sr. & Lucile G. Harris. Survived by sisters, Cyntia (Laval) Short, Littleton, CO & Marva Starks; brother, Charles (Mary) Harris, Nashville, TN; nieces, Marva Bey & Cynthia Harris; nephew, Laval Short, Jr.; numerous cousins & friends. Emily sang with Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel, BET for over 31 years. She was retired from the State of TN Dept. of Revenue. Public viewing will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 3-6 p.m., at Cathedral of Praise C.O.G.I.C., 4300 Clarksville Pike, Dr. Bobby Jones will conduct a Musical Memorial from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday at Cathedral of Praise, with many gospel artist appearing. Homegoing Celebration for Emily will be Thursday, December 29, 20ll at 11 a.m., at Cathedral of Praise, with her beloved Pastor, Bishop Jerry Maynard, Officiant/Eulogist.
