Mrs. Yvonne Taylor-White, 58, of Columbus, GA passed Monday, October 5, 2020 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Abundant Life Full Gospel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 3 - 5 p.m. EST
Mrs. Yvonne Taylor- White, affectionately known was “Peanut” was born on June 25, 1962 the late Willie Taylor and Thelma Phillips. She was a 1979 graduate of Baker High School, attended Phillips College, Columbus, GA, and was a member of the Life Church of Columbus under the leadership of her son, Apostle Walter E. Taylor where she served in various ministries including being mother of the church.
Survivors include her husband,Donnie White; two sons, Dr. Walter E (J Danielle) Taylor, and Michael Taylor both of Columbus, GA; daughter, Nylah Pitts of Columbus, GA; step-son, Rev. Quadarius Hood of Phenix City, AL; three brothers, Jeffrey Carter of Copperas Cove, TX, Walter (Lanitra) Phillips Jr., Columbus, GA, and Kenneth (Veleta) Phillips of Nashville, TN; 5 sisters, Ardenia (Horatio) Washington of Columbus, GA, Virginia (Frank) Pitts of Copperas Cove, TX, Sabrina (Glenn) Evans, Deborah Smith, and Brenda Goodrum, all of Nashville,TN; eight grandchildren; one great-grand child; a special god-son, SSGT Darius Powell; a special god-daughter, Kerelyn Sampson, and a host of other relatives, and friends.
Peanut , what a legend you were . You were a woman of wisdom, a angel of many strengths , and a human full of compassion. You loved everyone , and everyone loved you, it's sad to see you gone , but your legacy is far from gone. We love , cherish , and honor you as a woman of great measures and endless love. Rest In Heaven, we see you smiling from up above .
