Victoria Smith, 55, passed on June 14, 2024 in Panama City, FL.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the C.T. Chapel at Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Ruby Cobb, officiating. Burial will follow in the church old cemetery. Public viewing from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. EST on June, Thursday 20, 2024.
Mrs. Victoria Laangelia Fuller-Smith was born August 22, 1969, in Salem, Alabama to the late William Fuller and Julia Martin both of Salem, AL. She graduated from Beauregard High School, class of 1987. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. J. P. Jackson at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL. Vickie was an employee with Wal-Mart Inc. until her health began to decline. Upon medically retiring, she pursued entrepreneurship, establishing a successful cleaning business serving Atlanta, GA, and surrounding areas.
Vickie was preceded in death by her father, William (Will) Fuller. She cherished moments with loved ones, finding joy in her roles as a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, Taylor, and Tyler, who affectionately called her βMa Ma.β She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Vickie was an avid reader and creative writer. Vickie was a dedicated Lupus Warrior, who actively participated in walks supporting Lupus treatment and research.
Cherished memories are left to her loving and devoted husband of 17 years, Bryant Smith of Snellville, GA; mother, Julia Martin (late Pat Martin) of Salem, AL; three daughters, Tamara Nunn of Snellville, GA, Tamia (Tevin) Sanders of Lawrenceville, GA, and Keyontae Smith of Columbus, GA; one son, JaHaune Smith of Columbus, GA; two grandchildren, Taylor Nunn of Snellville, GA and Tyler Sanders of Lawrenceville, GA; mother in law, Barbara Smith of Columbus, GA and father in law, Bobby Smith of Montgomery, AL; a god daughter whom she nurtured from an early age, Shauntia Winston (Adrian Winston) of Phenix City, AL; brother, Kenneth Redd (Kesha) of Thomasville, GA; two sisters, Equisha (Nathan) Frazier of Columbus, GA and Chantis Martin of Opelika, AL; nieces and nephews; DeJohn Wright of Warner Robins, GA, Syniah Stevens of Denver, Co, Harmonie Frazier of Columbus, GA, Jace Frazier of Columbus, GA, Stantavious Lockhart Jr. of Opelika, AL, Maciya Harper of Opelika, AL, and Brandon Redd of Thomasville, GA. She also leaves a host of great aunts, great uncles, aunts, uncles, a sister-in-law, brother in laws, cousins, friends, and other relatives that will miss Vickie and cherish her memories forever.
Another branch has fallen from our family tree, but the roots that were planted can never be undone. Vickie you were and will always be a big part of our lives and hearts. We will continue to love you, honor, and celebrate you.
