After a hip replacement surgery left her disabled, Veronica turned her focus to her faith. Pursuing her theological studies at Apex School of Theology and earned her certificate in theology.
Veronica was an active member of Grace and Truth Missionary Baptist Church, where she wore many hats, including singing in the choir, serving as secretary, treasurer, and other various roles. Her church family remembers her as a kind and dedicated servant of God who brought light to every role she undertook.
Her greatest blessings came with the birth of her only two grandchildren, Ziniah Williams, and Kinslee Williams. In the years following 2020, Veronica’s health began to decline, and was called home on September 4, 2024.
