Mr. Samuel Lorenzo Palmer, Sr., 87, of Phenix City, AL passed Sunday, September 25, 2022 in Columbus, GA.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. EST, Monday, October 3, 2002 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Harrison Ford, officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Palmer was born October 13, 1934 in Phenix City, AL to the late George Palmer and the late Lucille Bennett in Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Palmer worked for the Phenix City Housing Authority until his retirement and served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Gibson and his stepfather, Willie Gibson.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Patricia Palmer of Phenix City, AL; one son, Samuel Palmer, II of Phenix City, AL; two daughters, Patrinia Palmer of Phenix City, AL and Samithia Palmer of Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Ariq Rayford of Phenix City, AL, Karmen (Tyreise) Shipp-Nickerson of Fayettville, NC and Jaicea Chambers of Phenix City, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.
