Rev Willis was my pastor and a true man of God. 13 years ago, he always called me to encourage and uplift me at times when I was down and giving up. He prayed for me when no one else would. He helped changed my life. Trinity definitely won't be the same without him. ๐
To to the family of Rev. Dr. Bobby D. Willis, you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Rev. Willis will truly be missed in the Quitman County, Georgetown, GA area. I will always remember whenever our town or our neighboring town (Eufaula, AL) would have a parade, you would see Rev. Willis in his Chevy Chevelle burning rubber. Dr. Bobby Willis was a man of many words. I met him as a parent, board member and Pastor. In all three important titles, he was always a very professional and talkative person. I worked at Stewart-Quitman high school as a Media Specialist where his children attended. We shared the same college Fort Valley state College, it is Fort Valley State University now. A great leader gone to soon, but god had him in his plans for a time, job well done Dr. Willis ! Debra P. Graham, Buena Vista, Ga.

Rev. Willis Was truly One of A Kind. As a child and Adult I loved going to Trinity Chapel. His preaching style was just one You Had No Problem Understanding. I was a lost soul When I lost my Pastor a few years ago, My Heartfelt condolences to His Family and Church.
My deepest condolences to you and your family
It was so saddening to found out about pastor Willis's death. He had always been there for me and my family and when I say always I mean always. I will never forget the day after my dad's funeral I had to come to church and I could not stop crying. After church he called me and my siblings into his office and let us know that just because we lost our dad that it was all going to be alright and that he was gonna be there always that day forward making sure we were straight, he definitely kept his promise and did so. Even before that though he always gave us our recognition and talked to us but it's like our bond got stronger after that. He provided us everything that he thought we needed or even wanted even tho he did all that it didn't even matter to us,it was his words of encouragement that were always powerful and stuck with me and the kindness that he always showed toward me and my siblings. So for that we will forever remember and love Pastor Bobby D Willis. -Kaykay
My deepest condolences to the family. He was a patient here at SAHRA where he quickly became a friend. He always gave such great advice and I never seen him without a smile. You will be truly missed Mr. Willis!!!
My husband has told me so many great things about Rev Willis. I even learned the nickname, that struck me as something hilarious, "Bo Gator." They definitely go a long way back. From growing up in Quitman County, to going to College, even into their golden years, I've heard it all. The one thing that stuck with me, is when they were in college, how Rev Willis would tell my husband and his friends, " Ya'll boys need to chill out now so I can read." My husband said he was referring to reading his Bible. He said he read it every night religiously; sometimes with just a night light on. He said he always had his back to them facing the wall, so they thought he was asleep. God was preparing him then, for who he would later become. His journey started a long time ago and it never stopped until the Lord closed his eyes his death. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, as you mourn the loss of your beloved Rev. Dr. Bobby D. Willis. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.

The Gate Keeper is what Felecia Williams and I called Bobby Willis.Bobby Willis was smart , sound , and a great expositor of God's word! He could explain any scripture you asked him about, as a matter of fact he gave no advice that was not backed by the word of God. He was a walking, anointed prolific preacher and prophet. He will truly be missed for so many reasons. Rest well Rev. Dr. Bobby Willis "The Gate Keeper". ~ Angie Crawford -Cox
The Gate Keeper is what I called Bobby Willis. Bobby was a giant , brillant , passionate expositor of God's word. I often called Bobby for expalnation on certain passages in the bible and his response to me would be after he explained the passage "get off Facebook" and study the word ! Bobby and I have cherished memories that died with him but remain with me. I will indeed miss my friend and confidant. I once told Bobby that all T.D Jakes had on him was stage , lights and camera and Bobby's response to me was " Angie you have not seen Trinity , girl it is state of the arts!" He went on to share about the new edice letting me know that Jakes ain't got nothing on The Rev. Dr. Bobby Willis! Now I guess he and Clara are up in heaven talking smack to one another! Rest well my friend, love you much.~ Angie Crawford-Cox
