Raymond McCray, 60, passed Thursday, November 14, 2024 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Relentless and Victorious Christian Church located in Phenix City, AL with Pastor Marshall Boykin Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Acres cemetery.
Raymond McCray was born May 17, 1964, in Lumpkin, Georgia to the late Robert O. McCray Sr. and Rosa Bell McCray. He departed this life for life eternal life on November 14, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
Raymond accepted Christ at an early age but re-dedicated his life to Christ in 2009. He joined the Relentless and Victorious Christian Church in 2018 where he was a faithful member until his health began to fail.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Robert O. McCray Sr. and Rosa Bell McCray, one brother, Timothy McCray Sr., and one nephew, Stanley McCray Jr.
Ray leaves to cherish his precious memories: an amazingly devoted wife of forty years, Rosland Annette McCray (Shug); two devoted daughters, Brittney Snell and Ashley McCray, both of Columbus, Georgia;devoted son, Roderick Snell of Columbus, Georgia;two brothers, Robert O. McCray Jr. and Stanley McCray Sr., both of Columbus, Georgia; three grandchildren: Addison Williams, Bryson Snell, and Aiden Williams;a devoted niece and nephew, Brandy Frazier and Michael Frazier. He also leaves his “forever ace,” Stanley Green, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
