Mr. Mose Wyatt, Jr., 75, of Columbus, GA passed Friday, January 21, 2022 in Columbus, GA.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. EST, Friday, January, 28, 2022 at St. John A.M.E. Church, Ft. Mitchell, AL with Rev. Johnny Rutledge, officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. EST.
Mose Wyatt, Jr. was born to the late Mose Wyatt, Sr. and Mary Wyatt on April 2, 1946 in Seale, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bettye Jean Wyatt.
Mose accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He was baptized at St. John A.M.E. Church in Ft. Mitchell, AL and was a faithful member of the Sons of Allen Senior Usher board as well as Trustee Board.
He retired from MEAD Westvaco after 40 years of service and was currently employed by the Muscogee County School District.
He leaves to mourn two sons, Timothy (Queen) Wyatt, Tampa, FL and Frederick (Tiki) Wyatt, Columbus, GA; one daughter, Temeca Wyatt, Newnan, GA; five granddaughters, Racquel (Michael) Booker, Atlanta, GA, Tameia & Janiah Wyatt, Columbus, GA, Jordan and Jillian Wyatt, Tampa, FL; one grandson, Tre'Jon McTyre, Columbus, GA; one sister, Susie Miles, Fort Mitchell, AL; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, (adopted) sons and friends.
To Mr. Mose Wyatt, Jr. Family, I was truly saddened when I read Mr. Mose had passed. I came to know him through the Bank I worked at. He was such a Sweet and Kind Man. I will be praying for all of you as grieve the loss of this precious Man. May the Lord give you the peace that passeth all understanding. Carol(Folmar)Carver
