Mr. Larry Ingram, 62, of Phenix City, AL passed Friday, October 15, 2021 in Columbus, GA.
Graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. EST Friday, October 22, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, AL with Pastor J.C. Fryer, officiating. Visitation is Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 3-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Ingram was born February 25, 1959 in Sparta, GA to the late Willie Ingram and the late Lula Mae Ingram-Walker. He confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at Union Baptist Church in Mayfield, GA and later joined Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL under the leadership of Pastor J.C. Fryer.
He attended Hancock High School in Sparta, GA and worked as a construction worker for many years where he was a number one carpenter until his health failed him which brought him more time to spend with his grandchildren that he loved with all of his heart. He also loved going to the racetrack.
Mr. Ingram is preceded in death by two siblings, Terry Ingram and Nickeya Kilpatrick.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Jeraldine Wood Ingram; two daughters, Kayla Wood of Phenix City, AL and Shaquetta Wood of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Sonny (Lena) Gilbert and Gregory Ingram both of Sparta, GA; two sisters, Jeanette (Louise) Lawerence of Fort Valley, GA and Cynthia (Charlie) Lewis of Sparta, GA; two grandchildren, Taking Wood and Derriona Bolden; god son, Jacoby Daniel (his papa); god daughter, Valerie Upshaw; two aunts; Janice Ingram of Atlanta, GA and Joyce (Min. Robert) Ramsey of Evans, GA; great aunt, Shirley Collins of Atlanta, GA; special friends, Steve Maywether and Ulyesses Upshaw; caring neighbors, Homer and Shirley Miles and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
